Philly Game Forge’s emotional shutdown was covered by Engadget

Looks like we weren’t the only ones who found emotion and nostalgia at the Philly Game Forge shutdown party at the end of June.

Engadget’s Jessica Conditt wrote a moving piece on what the night felt like for those who were there, and how the Old City coworking space contributed to the growth of Philly’s indie gaming scene.

“I cried. A lot,” recalls William Stallwood, one half of Auditorium studio Cipher Prime and co-founder of the Philly Game Forge. “In fact, I couldn’t even stay all night; it was just too emotional for me.”
